Bixby Hospitality Web-App and App Creation

Web App

The Bixby Hospitality Web App is designed for building owners and managers to list vacancies in their properties, while organizing requests, blackout dates, and accepting credit card payments.


Mobile App

The Bixby Hospitality App allow tenants to search and book amenities within their building through the convenience of their mobile phones.

A Better Way To Book

Whats the Problem?

Tenant relationships are essential to a pleasant and easy living experience. To rent a space in their building for an event, tenants speak directly with building management via various means of communication, text, email, phone call, causing confusion on both ends.

How might we streamline and standardize reserving and managing amenities for both tenants and building management?

Manager Pain Points

  • Too many messages on various mediums

  • Lack of process around reserving amenities

  • Tenants underreporting the number of guests to avoid reserving

  • Manually inputs reservations on an excel sheet

  • Continuous inquiries from customers

Tenant Pain Points

  • Inability to effectively confirm details.

  • Being unaware of the blackout dates and rentals.

  • Not know if reservation requests were received or not.

  • Having to ask various different building employees for help and information.

Design and Iteration

After evaluating the user needs and the needs of the business, we then created and iterated our designs. Below are designs created by myself in Sketch.

All redesigns were informed by data received during usability testing.

Final Result

After presenting the design proposals to stakeholders, assets were handed off in Zeplin to developers and our designs were integrated into Bixby Hospitality’s dashboard and tenant app!
